Testing & Treatment for:
Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)
An infection in the vagina that can cause bad-smelling vaginal discharge, due to a disruption of the normal bacteria of the vagina. Common symptoms include: a "fishy-smelling" vaginal discharge or a burning feeling in the vagina.

Chlamydia
A common treatable sexually transmitted infection amongst men and women caused by a bacteria called Chlamydia trachomatis. It can have no symptoms, but women can experience symptoms of abnormal vaginal discharge or spotting, vaginal itching, a burning/pain sensation while urinating, pain during sexual intercourse or lower abdominal pain.

Gonorrhea
A common treatable sexually transmitted infection amongst men and women caused by a bacteria called Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Many have no symptoms, but women can experience discharge from the vagina, rectum, or throat, pain/burning during urination, vaginal bleeding outside of the menstrual cycle. It can lead to serious health problems if left untreated such as pelvic inflammatory disease.

Hepatitis B
A disease that can cause damage to the liver. It is spread through bodily fluids such as sexual activity or sharing needles. It is prevented through receiving the Hepatitis B vaccine. It has an acute stage that would include symptoms like the flu, nausea, pain in the upper right side of your belly, yellowing of the eyes or skin.

Hepatitis B can cause liver damage, and most people will not have symptoms. The chronic stage symptoms can include: swelling of the belly and leg, bruising or bleeding easily, breathing difficulties, feeling of satiety (fullness), confusion, or coma.

Hepatitis C
It is a virus which causes harm to the liver. It is spread through contact with blood primarily, but it can be transmitted through sex or with pregnancy during delivery of the child. Symptoms include feeling tired/weak, little or no appetite, nausea, muscle/joint aches, or weight loss.

Herpes (HSV-1 & HSV-2)
A viral infection that causes painful sores or blisters, often around the mouth or genitals. While there is no cure, symptoms can be managed with antiviral medications.

HIV (Testing Only)
HIV is a virus that attacks the immune system and can lead to AIDS if untreated. Early detection through testing is crucial for managing health and preventing transmission.

Mycoplasma Genitalium
A lesser-known but increasingly common bacterial STI that may cause symptoms similar to chlamydia. It can be resistant to standard antibiotics, so targeted treatment is important.

Syphilis
A bacterial infection with distinct stages that can cause serious complications if untreated. Early symptoms may be mild, but testing and treatment are simple and effective.

Trichomoniasis
A common parasitic STI that often causes itching, irritation, or unusual discharge. It’s easily treatable, even if symptoms are mild or absent.
